On 22nd November 2018, 1st International Smart Factory Summit was organized by Swiss Smart Factory at Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne. Professionals in Smart Factory field from Germany, Rumania, Mexico, USA, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, Indonesia and UK participated in the event including special presentation from World Economic Forum Mr. Adrian Widmer “Technology and Innovation for the Future of Production”, DFKI Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. Detlef Zühlke “Building the World’s First Smart Factory” and EPFL Dr. Dimitris Kiritsis ”Competences & Skills for the Future of Production”.
